Updates:

A big thanks to Amber Akers for organizing and to all of you who brought an item for the Chinese Auction at this weekends Keystone Barrel Classic at Shartlesville. We raised another $215 towards year end awards.

Also, there has been a scheduling change for the May 19th show at Malibu Dude Ranch. Malibu Ranch is striving to have the best ground available for our barrel racers. However, since this is a new facility this year, they are concerned that the current ground situation is not adequate to handle a barrel race at this time. Therefore, they have decided to cancel the May 19th show but will remain on schedule for September. Due to their prior committments, there are no other dates available for rescheduling the May show at this time.

Points and Results are posted for the Dillsburg and Shartlesville shows. A big thank you to Roger and Linda Fosbenner for being an extra pair of eyes and reviewing results and points for PA03.

The National Barrel Horse Association Pennsylvania District PA03 is a non-profit organization that provides barrel racers an international organization that promotes the family sport of barrel racing and horsemanship. We have many multi-generational families that compete in barrel racing - anyone at any age can be competitive in our sport.

We support our district by sanctioning superior shows, fund raising and sponsor money which is used for added money shows and/or year end awards. By doing so, we can provide our sponsors with more attendance and therefore more advertising potential for their donations. We not only have "horse people" at our events but barrel racing is an exciting event to watch which brings more spectators as well.

REMINDER TO EVERYONE - Points this year are being determined differently than in the past. The fastest time of a PA-03 member will set the winning time in determining points. For example, the fastest time of the class is a 15.00, however, the fastest PA03 member is a 15.50. "D" points will be calculated off the 15.50 time.
